We are very pleased to announce the introduction of our new line of aquarium oriented  CO2 regulators.  Regulators so solid and strong, we've named them SUMOS!

SUMO Regulators are the ideal component for CO2 fertilization in planted aquariums or to provide a steady, constant flow of CO2 to a calcium reactor on a reef aquarium.

SUMO Premier Regulators

The SUMO Premier Regulator is built on a well machined, chrome plated forged brass body, with nickel-plated valve seats. The regulator body features a lockable dial knob for steady, constant pressure. The regulator has an integrated sintered bronze mesh inlet filter, as well as a built in CO2 resistant Nylon inlet seal.

The SUMO Premier Controllable CO2 Regulator Package includes:

  • Electric solenoid valve with red LED to signal the valve is powered on
  • Five feet of high quality flexible CO2 tubing
  • A brass check valve
  • Your choice of Ideal or Swagelok metering valve

We have chosen to offer these two valves because we found they offer the best value by means of flow control as well as number of turns open/closed for the money.

The SUMO Premier CO2 Regulator without electric solenoid package includes:

  • Five feet of high quality flexible CO2 tubing
  • A brass check valve
  • Your choice of Ideal or Swagelok metering valve

Note:  Rigs configured without solenoids are intended to be run 24/7.  Maintaining a consistent bubble rate will *not* be possible if turning the CO2 on and off by the valve on the CO2 cylinder.  We also do not recommend using the working pressure adjustment knob or metering valves for shut-off service.  Using the metering valve for shut-off can permanently damage the equipment.  If you would like on-off service for your equipment, please select from our Controllable rigs above!

SUMO Hallmark CO2 Regulators

The SUMO Hallmark CO2 Regulator is built on a forged brass, die cast body for durability (the popular Cornelius regulator body). This regulator features stainless steel valve seats and a stainless steel inlet filter. Unlike the SUMO Premier Regulator, the SUMO Hallmark Regulator features a screw pressure adjuster instead of a lockable knob to maintain working pressure. The SUMO Hallmark CO2 Regulator comes with a molded CO2 resistant Nylon inlet seal.

Shipping Info:

Packages are shipped by USPS Priority Mail.  All packages are shipped insured for the retail value of the contents.  Please note that athough we do not require signature confirmation for the packages, the USPS may require a signature due to the insurance!

We can likely ship to you even if you live outside the US.  If you do, and are interested in our rigs, please contact us for a shipping quote.
